Congratulations to Spencer’s Gus Atkinson who joins the Hundred and will play for the Southern Brave.

Also congratulations to Alain Jason who coached the Surrey Pan-Disability team to a national title. Two of their three victories came at the familiar surroundings of Openview - Fortress Spencer!

Yet more congratulations to 2nd teamer and Spencer lifer Cameron Ponsonby who filed his first story from the Lords Press box. Recently he’s been absent from Spencer teams due to a broken hand but it’s not stopped his writing it seems.

Finally good luck to the Boys U15 team playing in the London & South East finals of the ECB T20 Cup on Wednesday 4th August. The matches (a 4 team semi and final) determine who represents the region in the National finals. Originally scheduled for last week, the games were abandoned due to heavy rain at the Horsham venue
