Wisden publishes extract from Spencer official history

We’re very pleased that Wisden’s quarterly Nightwatchman magazine is running an extract from the soon to be published history of Spencer in its Summer 2021 edition. The piece is an edited version of a chapter in the history entitled ‘The Greatest Footballer You’ve Never Heard Of?’ . The book itself is called‘Christians, Criminals, City Bankers’, and is published in July of this year. More information can be found elsewhere on this website here.

The Nightwatchman itself is a ‘quarterly collection of essays and long-form articles featuring an array of authors from around the world, writing beautifully’… and then our bit, obviously.
